Product Description |
| Deluxe kitchen appliances and accessories coordinate perfectly with the Fisher-Price Twin Time Dollhouse. Look inside the freezer to find a frozen pizza. Open the oven door and a light comes on, just like the real thing, so you can check the "cookies" on the baking sheet. Pull out the dishwasher rack and load the dirty dishes. Set includes fridge, oven, sink/dishwasher, coffee pot, cooking pot and more - even a double highchair and two bibs for the twin babies. Requires 3 "AAA" batteries (included). Dollhouse and dolls sold separately. |

| Great kitchen set! The frige is roomy and holds food. The kitchen stove and dishwasher are nice. They have sizzling sounds and the oven makes sounds too. The oven sounds are a bit loud though. Nice set though. |

The kitchen set is one of the more expensive loving family room sets to buy, which can be attributed to the light and sounds. The central oven display is a button that when pushed makes sounds of coffee brewing, water running, food cooking on the range, the oven timer beeping, and the phone ringing. However, the sounds are a little loud and it's a bit hard to distinguish between the coffee, water, and cooking sounds. The set comes with its own battery that is easy to change and is the standard AA size.
The dishwasher has a rack that can be 'slid' out when the dishwasher door is opened. We've found that it's pretty tricky to get it to move much at all. The coffee pot and cooking pot are attached to the countertop with a short tether. The oven door opens and the oven light goes on when it's opened. The oven timer also beeps whenever the oven door opens. The muffins/muffin pan that comes with the set fits on either the top or bottom rack of the oven. There is also a phone on a tether that snaps into a hanging cradle. My daughters (3 1/2 and 2) have no problem getting the phone off the cradle but don't have the dexterity of getting it back on yet.
The refrigerator has sliding vegetable bins, room for putting food on the shelves, and both a refrigerator and freezer compartment. Our girls like taking the included pizza out of the freezer and baking it in the oven.
There is also a purple rug, some food for the refrigerator (one molded piece), and a double high chair for the twins complete with a spoon (on a tether) and a bib for each. The bibs are relatively easy for little fingers to place around the babies necks, but it's a little tricky to get the babies into the high chairs. It takes some maneuvering and adjusting of the babies legs.
One of my favorite tie-ins is that the Twin Time Dollhouse with Bonus Set includes a "wet bar" with high-back chairs, towel, and tray with cocoa and cookies that match the kitchen set. This starts to make the room look like a real kitchen when you add a counter and chairs to eat at. There isn't a lot of room to get the combined pieces all into one space, but it fits decently on the extra fold-down floor space on the bottom central room in the twin time dollhouse (if you don't mind the chairs being on carpet).
Even though this was one of the more expensive sets, there was little hesitation in our buying it. First, what's a house without a kitchen? Second, my girls loved playing with the set even in the package at the store where they pressed the button repeatedly (you can always take out the battery, right?). Finally, the set has the perfect balance of detail and simplicity (just like the other room sets) to keep my girls interested and playing with it again and again. |
Great Set / With Issues

| This is a great kitchen set for the Loving Family Dollhouse. The only issue I had with it was that I ordered both the kitchen set and the Loving Family Sweet Sounds Dollhouse at the same time. I was unaware of the fact that the Sweet Sounds dollhouse already comes with a built in kitchen. The kitchen set was soooo cute though that we had to keep it. So my daughter now has two kitchen in the one kitchen space. |

| I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I was so excited to see it I could not wait to give it to her. This set is so detailed. I love the little oven light. The sounds have never bothered me at all. I love the fact that the little pieces are attached to the kitchen. A wonderful addition to your dollhouse. |
Great set!

| This is a must have for the Twin Time dollhouse! I really like all the little details with this set, that the refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and oven open and close, the phone makes noises and the best thing of all is that the phone and baby spoon are connected to larger pieces so that they aren't so easily lost! |
